Arriving at ‘la ferme de la lochere’ you are immediately struck by the towering oak doors, designed by your hostess and made by local ‘artisans’. Painted in a light french grey one of the national heritage colours allowed in this protected village they stretch over 3m, and caste brilliant sunlight through onto the ground floor.The whole of the downstairs is paved in light creamy flag stones spanning just over 200m² with a locally handmade stone staircase taking you up to the 1st floor. As you come through the front door and glance heavenward you cannot fail to notice the 2 colourful authentic Moroccan lanterns that give a soft glow in the evenings.

Bearing round to your left past the elegant dress mirror you will discover the extremely spacious living area with its stone and cast iron wood burner surrounded by 3 comfortable velvet sofa’s.There’s a very special table, specifically designed by your hostess to seat 14 comfortably, hand made again from oak by her carpenter, plenty of room for everyone!

The kitchen is simply designed and very impressive with long pale wooden worktops providing plenty of room to prepare meals or just sit and relax over the other side on the bar stools sipping aperitifs!! The professional Godin cooker has 7 gas burners, 1 warming oven 1 fan oven and one very large gas oven.

There is also an efficient dishwasher, washer and freezer as well as a large professional fridge and duo wine cellar. There are 5 spacious bedrooms all have bathrooms en suite and beds that are super king’s or generous twins.One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor to the right of the entrance, while two of the bedrooms upstairs have extra full size single beds with one of those also having a bath as well as a shower

There are also 3 travel cots for infants and toddlers. Heading outside there are two courtyards, one with a private dinning area, water feature, bbq and flower beds, the other has a heated 9.5mx4.5m pool with regulation security cover and sun loungers.
